Okay, so I lie about coming back a lot. Not this time. I'll be drabbling another character in November, and not flaking out in the least--I even have the first three done.

Here's a little more on Wolfram:

Name: Wolfram Alexander Matera
Nickname: Sten
Age: 21, will be 26 in the stories he's intended for.
Race: Human?
Appearance: 5'5". About 175 pounds. Short, spiky black hair with just a telling touch of whitish-grey streaks. Eyes are vivid blue and extremely intimidating; occasionally sheen violet when emotions are high. Skin is lightly tanned, tawny even. Extremely toned, fairly muscular, stocky build. Some grace in movements but more often abrupt.
Background: Raised on the streets his entire life and has never known any family but the relationships with the thugs he runs with. Has received training from several 'masters' and is quite skilled with firearms. He made money as a young man as a hitman and never hesitates to pull the trigger when opportunity rises. The cut-throat lifestyle has left him suspicious of those he doesn't know and fiercely loyal to those who have gained his trust. He can be something of a goofball around those he's comfortable with.

If anyone has any questions about him or the stories he'll be used for, feel free to ask. Hey, 007-WriteOff! I know it's been forever and a half since I last frequented deviantArt. I've had a lot of things going on in my life taking any and all time I could ever hope to have, but now I'm in college and believe things to be settling down. So, I’ve posted the final Ethan Drabble today, leaving him in the perfect place. I think his back story, though rough and choppy, came out rather well. In my mind, at least. I’ve switched his character from where it originated from to where it needs to be, so I’m content.

Because I feel that these drabbles have worked so well for Ethan, I’m going to do a set for another character! But I want y’all to vote on which cause I can’t decide. The following is a list of available characters with a background blurb, please vote on which you’d like to see drabbled on.

1. Wolfram Matera: Born and raised on the streets, he’s a hardened criminal. His one soft spot is in regards to his ancestry. His only link to such is a family heirloom, an ornate amulet. He is against ISH, and works for the ‘Dealing World.’

2. Julien Roubel: A humble rich boy testing his independence. He wants nothing more than to work for ISH but is forced to work against his parents’ influence. He ends up in the Dealing World with Wolfram.

3. Crystal Lynn Flinte: The head of the Dealing World, a hot-headed, self-made woman dead-set on destroying ISH, no matter the cost.

4. Ryan Smith: Second in command in the Dealing World. He’s old-fashioned in the sense that he resists technological advances, yet somehow he always knows the most current information. He’s vegetarian and extremely bipolar.

5. Elle Rose Hames: Secretary for the head of ISH. She’s sick of the man and wants to see his downfall but needs help to do so. She’s an active planner and something of a perfectionist.

Yes, I intentionally left Mark out. I haven’t thought much on his character yet and don’t think I would be able to fill a month with drabbles. I left out the head of ISH, Jacob O’Connor, for the same reason. I also cut the main character, Arianna Skydancer, because her background would likely give away every possible secret I could weave into this story.

Now! Vote! Please? Otherwise I’ll default to a character I haven’t yet set as a default character, which will likely result in my not writing. So vote!

Heyo, y'all 007-WriteOff peoples (and everyone else who watches me)!

I'm back in the game and have decided upon a theme for my first month back IN! For each day in February, I'm going to write a bit of insight into my character Ethan's background. It's more of a planning for myself, so I can work out the kinks in his character. If all goes well, y'all may meet some other characters in future months, and I may be so inclined to expand upon the drabbles.

Just a little bit more on Ethan, since I'm not sure how in-depth it's going to come out in the drabbles:

Name: Ethan Robert Rouge
Age: 17, will be 22 in the stories he's intended for.
Half-Breed: Half human, half insectoid.
Appearance: 6'1". About 180 pounds. Seen with auburn hair but will be bald for most of his appearances. Eyes are hazel, usually gravitating towards the darker side and are often spookily intense. His skin has the faint pattern of an Indian moon moth, focused more on the torso and arms. He comes across as a hoodlum in the way he moves, though there's something graceful or lingering about him. Rather intimidating if one doesn't know him.
Background: Ethan was raised by his mother alone, as his father wasn't permitted to live within the same society. His mother was human, his father an advanced species of insect. He grew up helpful, always eager to assist others in their endeavors, never thinking much about himself. He continued in much the same manner until his early teenage years, when one of the most influential companies passed a law that made inter-species relationships, and hence their offspring, illegal. His mother's attitude towards him changed drastically (as did the rest of the world's), causing him to withdraw, changing his personality from compliant to aggressive, though only on the surface.

From about there on is where the drabbles will be taking place, so I'll leave that alone. If anyone has any questions about him or the stories he'll be used for, feel free to ask. ...I'm aware I haven't come through since September.

...I'm aware that most of my notebook is still lacking in haiku.

...I'm aware that my first journal is null and void at this point, but that doesn't mean that the plan can't be altered. It has been. As to what the alter version is, I don't know just yet, as there's a lot to do and so little time in which to do it. I'll update again when I know.

As for my haiku--I'm going to finish them. I will post them by summer. That's all I can promise right now, even to myself.
