Time immersed in the remaining nature of the planet had served him well. He had regained his grip on reality and decided upon his course of action. He couldn't stay on Earth. He wasn't welcome. He felt an urge to make an exodus, and planned to steal a spacecraft to do so.
One day, when he had learned enough, gained the required resources, and developed a strong backing, he would return, and he would wage war against this inhuman company.
Ethan gazed across his fire into the darkness. Twilight had only just blinked out; already three moths headed towards him.
